Bio of Dr. Dov Hochbaum

Dr. Dov Hochbaum was raised in West Hempstead, NY, and made Aliyah in July 2024. He earned his dental degree from the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in Newark, New Jersey, graduating in 2018. He then completed a residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, NY, with a strong focus on surgical care and emergency dentistry.

Following his residency, Dr. Dov worked for five years in private practice in Orange County, NY, serving patients at offices in both Middletown and Newburgh. There, he built meaningful relationships with patients and their families, providing care in root canal therapy, surgical procedures, and restorative dentistry—all while maintaining a calm, reassuring presence.

To further enhance his skills, Dr. Dov completed an advanced surgical and implant training program at the New York Implant Institute under the direction of Dr. Panjali. He also participated in multiple Cerec digital dentistry courses in North Carolina and Arizona. His diagnostic, implant, and bone grafting techniques incorporate the use of Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) for precision and accuracy.

Now based in Jerusalem, Dr. Dov brings his clinical expertise, gentle approach, and genuine care to patients in Israel. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys running, swimming, exploring the country, Torah learning, and spending quality time with his family.

He looks forward to partnering with you to achieve your dental goals and support your long-term oral health.
